Trans Video Buffet: Volume I

We are a new monthly video club for trans video creators and consumers - TRANS VIDEO BUFFET ! With an anti-curation lens, any work submitted to our club will be shown on a first come first served basis for no fee! If you’re a creative trans person and have a video in the works or in your pocket that you just wanna get seen then this is the place for you! Or, if you want to come and watch work made by other creative trans people come along too! Our event is free for all who wish to participate. Our motto is ‘all you can submit, all you can watch’. Submissions can include, but are by means limited to: narrative shorts, moving image animation, GIFs, vlogs, Tik Toks, music videos, gameplay, machinima, visual accompaniment to spoken word, littlest pet shop drama role plays, porn, animatics, fan cams, parodies, comedy routines, documentaries and anything else you can dream. Please send us an email with your work attached as a dropbox link or wetransfer file to transvideobuffet@gmail.com. A bit of writing about your work is appreciated, but not necessary. We do not currently have the means to screen anything that is not in digital file format or anything over 20 minutes in length. In lieu of submission fees, we kindly ask video makers to be prepared to answer audience Q&As about their work and for the audience to enter ready to participate with Q&A questions. For the filmmaker, this does not have to be in person and we will discuss this with you after you have submitted. In Rio's Ludski bar, we will be setting the stage for the 22nd of November, 7pm doors for a 7:30 start time. Please note that Rio is a fully wheelchair accessible venue. If you are submitting work you do not need to book a ticket via the Rio’s website, but if you are attending as an audience member please pre reserve a spot so that we don’t end up over capacity <3.
