Synopsis

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all - and it's Christmas! But Clarence, a guardian angel, shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn't been for all his good deeds over the years. Will he be able to convince George that he’s had a ‘wonderful life’ and to return to his family? Director Frank Capra’s inventiveness, humour and affection for his characters, all beautifully played by an outstanding cast, still weave a timeless, special magic.
