Edward Said takes us through a life lived between worlds: Jerusalem and New York, exile and belonging. His voice and rare archives reveal the man behind the public intellectual. Twenty years after his death, the Palestinian-American scholar recounts his life in his own words. Drawing on unseen family home movies and recordings, the film spans seven decades, tracing his political awakening and search for belonging, while asking who has the right to tell their story.

Made with full access to the Said estate, this feature documentary incorporates rare television appearances, lectures, and personal archives to offer an unprecedented, intimate portrait of one of the 20th century’s most influential scholars."

EDWARD SAID – BETWEEN WORLDS will be shown in English and Arabic with English subtitles for Arabic language archival material.
