This year’s
Doc'n Roll FF shorts programme is united by a distinctly punk ethos, not a genre, but an attitude. From London’s
underground rap and hardcore scenes to Black musicians making noise in Texas,
resistance on the dancefloor and the cultural battles around gangster rap,
these five films celebrate artists and outsiders who challenge the status quo,
create their own spaces and refuse to be silenced.
