Presented in four chapters, this avant garde experimental film takes the artist through a series of surreal encounters intercut with dreamlike artistic sequences by Cocteau himself.

Visually stunning, and way ahead of its time, the film picks up themes and visual stylings that would appear in the artists later films like Orphee and Beauty and the Beast.
