Deftly knitted together by director Daniel Mota from never-before-seen VHS archives, home footage and prime-time TV clips, we're dropped us into castle raves, sweat-soaked dancefloors and the heart of decentralised DIY movement that spread far beyond Lisbon and Porto. First-hand interviews with DJs, promoters, dancers and producers map the birth and evolution of a scene built by community, curiosity and euphoria.

More than simply a nostalgia flick, PARADISE is a vivid portrait of cultural revolution and its afterlives. It captures a moment when dance music reshaped identity and possibility, while quietly questioning how nations remember, support or neglect their cultural pioneers.
