Carers & Babies Club is the chance for new carers to view the latest cinema releases in a relaxed and well lit environment. This club is for all parents whose babies are under 12 months of age.
We're dedicated to bringing the magic of the movies to the people of Hackney - our mission is to bring a world-class film programme to our neighbourhood, our borough and beyond. We believe incredible cinema is for everyone!
Our Audiences Manager Claire ensures that any group booked in with additional needs is greeted with a warm welcome and by a well-briefed team. Our community clients are VIPs to us as much as any visiting filmmaker or celebrated artist. We have links with many local groups in Hackney and we are proud to welcome thousands of local school children through the doors every year.

A social experience for over 60's, with classic films and new releases, plus free tea, coffee and biscuits. Rio Concession Members go free!
We want all children in Hackney to have their own experience of the Rio, through school and also with their families, to enjoy the magic of seeing films on the big screen in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Many of our senior citizens have precious memories of attending the Rio as children and we love to continue this shared tradition…
